Location-walking distance to all that Hamilton has to offer, a short walk to the ferry for the rest of Bermuda. The Fairmont Club rooms are worth it.

Location is perfect! We could walk into town for shopping, dining, and the ferry terminal. Miles market is very close by for snacks, lunch and to go items, etc., which enabled us to get some to go items for lunch by the pool.
Staff is beyond exceptional from Homer at our check-in, to the lovely gentlemen greeting us at breakfast every morning, they made us feel welcome and at home.
Pool is nice. Veranda outside room was fabulous for first cup of tea in the morning to last cup of tea in the evening.
Having a tea kettle and fridge was awesome.

We were delightfully surprised by our last-minute accommodation at the Oxford House. We unexpectedly had to stay another night in Bermuda (oh darn, right?) and the staff could not have been more welcoming, and the bed extremely comfortable. We appreciated the cozy conditions and assistance from staff throughout.

We liked the location.
We liked the location. The place we stayed had beautiful view, had everything we needed for our vacation.
We could walk to the beach we wanted to enjoy or take a bus or a taxi. There were few really nice restaurants and, of course, the famous and absolutely beautiful lighthouse.
I'm very particular about beds when we travel and our wonderful hostess Claudette had exceptionally comfortable beds in a really big size bedroom.
We got help with directions when we needed and enjoyed the comfort of feeling like being at home.

The beach is right there.
The beach is right there. No need to travel for dining insofar as the Hotel features two restaurants with a full menu for each meal. The Ocean beach is rather small but the Ocean is beautiful and quite safe for children or non swimmers. If you wish to travel the island, it is somewhat problematic since the hotel sits at one side of the island. If you like to ride motorscooters, however, you will be able to visit anywhere on the island with ease. Great place to simply relax and pamper yourself. Great for a romantic getaway.

Although Southampton is about a 45-minute drive from Hamilton, the beaches are outstanding and the location is more relaxed. Bus service is available at the hotels there and it was always on time. We also took the ferry from the Dockyard to St. Georges and it was a great way to see the island from the sea.

We had some bad luck with the seasonal seaweed influx all over the beaches. This is nature so cannot be prevented.
It would be nice if Southampton would have a formal sidewalk along South Shore Rd rather than a walking path of dirt and sometimes grass. We walked all the way to almost Warwick Long Bay but would have felt safer from traffic on a sidewalk.
Location was excellent with impeccable hotel grounds. Everything was spotless. Kudos to the service staff whether it is the front desk or the restaurant staff or anyone you meet on the grounds, everyone was friendly and helpful.
If staying here for more than a few days, you will find the dinner menu is limited and expensive.
Buffer breakfast daily is excellent.
Private beach is nice and cozy and it is a short bus ride away to the other public beaches as well. Central location between the docks on one side and Hamilton on the other.
The location was ideal for us. The personal touch provided by Tom and Larry and their entire team was excellent, they all really wanted you to have a memorable stay. The hotel itself is set in beautiful surroundings, the rooms were big, clean could be a tad updated, however, the services provided certainly made up for that. The food was amazing and plentiful, swimming pool and hot tubs great, private beach facilities were lovely, the views are breathtaking, everything was so enticing that we will be back for sure.
By far the best part of the stay was the host. Sabrina gave us an unbelievable experience for our first trip to Bermuda. It was like staying with family. She always gave us the feeling that she cared about us and our vacation. Our party occupied 3 units and we had the pool to ourselves every night. She has an amazing knowledge of Bermuda that I can't imagine we could have gotten with anyone else. She recommended trips, restaurants and arranged travel for us. We would stay with her again without hesitation.
The hotel staff were generally excellent - friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. A special mention must go to Greg, Kim and Lyn - exceptional.
Breakfast was excellent on the whole, particularly the buffet. Menu wasn't quite so good and the bread wasn't great.
The location is unparalleled with quite exceptional views, particularly the sunsets - amazing.
The dinner menu was comprehensive and on the whole the food was excellent. Good wine list too.
WE HAD GONE TO THE REEFS FOR OUR HONEYMOON 33 YEARS AGO AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET BACK SINCE; WE FINALLY GOT TO CELEBRATE OUR 33 YEAR MARRIAGE ANNIVERSARY AND WERE SO HAPPY TO SEE THE GROUNDS, BEACH LOOK JUST AS BEAUTIFUL AS IT WAS SO MANY YEARS AGO!!!
THE WAITERS, AND ALL STAFF THAT WERE EXCELLENT. WE LOVED OUR BALCONY WITH ITS BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE BEACH AND HAVING THE STAFF THAT HELPED WITH THE BEACH SETUP AND DRINKS WERE EXCELLENT!!
Two things stood out - the hospitality and the food. The hotel is a 4* and doesn’t pretend to be anything else. It’s very casual (long shorts at dinner flip flops etc) and the rooms are Best Western motel style but the food is undeniably 5* and the gym and hospitality likewise 5*. I’d say given its scenic location and the foregoing it’s definitely somewhere we would return to
The beech location and condition is perfect. Super clean beachfront with crystal clear water and protected snorkeling areas. The staff was super friendly. All rooms have a water view that is energizing. We ate at the restaurants for all our meals. Food and service was exceptional with beautiful ocean views!
I loved the location. I needed to be away from the hustle of daily life. This hotel does that, yet you can travel to various places with ease, if that’s what you want.
The owners are amazing and the staff is beyond fabulous.
Great location and staff quite friendly and helpful for the most part. We had a lovely room with a view and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. The restaurant for dinner was also good and the BBQ on the Beach fantastic!
