I felt very welcome and at home in the PistaQ Hostel. It is very close to the sea side and has two supermarkets and several restaurants close by. The city center is also very close. The rooms and the pool area, kitchen etc. are clean. The kitchen has a lot of space to do some proper cooking. Mildred and her husband were incredibly helpful, when I need to change my plans spontaneously because of an online course. The wi-fi connection was perfect, I needed it for a WebEx meeting of 8 hours while using other applications simultaneously and the connection never broke. I would definitely love to come again.

It has a kitchen that is a huge plus.. cooking meal on Aruba is essential if you want to save money. It’s very near a great supermarket Cmart where you find absolutely everything. Walking distance from the airport if you can handle the heat.

On my arrival, I was impressed how big the room actually was for the price and glad I was allowed to check in early. It is a great and safe place to stay in Aruba - I genuinely do not think you need to spend a fortune to stay at a more expensive hotel if you plan to be out and about. People from around the world. No Americans. You NEED access to a car to experience Aruba. I walked most of the trip and people looked at me like I was nuts. Walk into town 15 mins, 20 minutes to bus terminal. The poolside music was wacky, country music one day, Wonderwall played on repeat, Tracy Chapman's Fast car will be played 10+ times per day. Hope you like those two songs :) 🎵 Head to west deck for some good eats.

I managed to walk to divi beach every day which was my favorite beach on the island. The place is in a safe local neighborhood. I enjoyed cooking meals in the air fryer provided. These guys even drove me to the airport from another accommodation after I left. Great hosts. Good price. Great coffee too ;) Looking forward to staying again.

You will never get lost because it is right next to the most famous Argentina restaurant where you can take out food cheaper! The local bus terminals are nearby so you can travel like a real backpacker!

Hostel is very clean, rooms are neat and spacious with comfortable beds. Small pool is great if you want to refresh during the day.
